RESURRECTION COLLECTION
With this collection, I wanted to focus on the importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The resurrection is the foundation of our faith, it is the victory that confirms who Jesus is and gives us the hope of eternal life through Him.
I wanted every piece in this collection to have a direct connection to the resurrection and tell a part of that story. The collection moves through the moments surrounding Christ’s death and resurrection, creating a before and after: what took place at the cross, the victory that followed when He rose from the grave, and finally, the testimony of how that truth transforms the way we live.
Together, these pieces represent more than individual designs. They tell one complete story: Jesus died, Jesus rose, and because He lives, we no longer live for ourselves, we live for Him.
CRUCIFIX TEE
I wanted this piece to capture the moment of realization at the cross when the centurion looked at Jesus and declared, “Truly this man was the Son of God.” Mark 15:39. The bright glow surrounding Christ was used to emphasize His divine significance, creating a sharp contrast against the darkness of the garment and immediately drawing the eye toward the cross. The large, condensed typography works alongside the image to make the scripture feel bold, direct, and impossible to overlook. This piece was made to catch attention from a distance, but more importantly, to point people back to the identity of Jesus and the significance of what happened on the cross.
I LIVE FOR JESUS
With this piece, I wanted to create a minimalist yet powerful design that represents our testimony as believers in Christ. In Galatians 2:20, Paul states, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me." You might have heard this verse before, but the longer you walk with the Lord, the more real this statement plays a role in our lives as believers. Your desires start to shift, your heart begins to change, and the only thing you can receive satisfaction from now is by being right with Him and carrying out His will for you. This is why I wanted to use the words “I LIVE FOR JESUS,” because it serves as a testimony of how we once used to live for worldly desires, but by Grace through Faith in Jesus’s death and resurrection, we have been transformed to deny ourselves and live for HIM.
COMPRESSION TEE
For the longest time, I've always wanted to make a tight-fit compression tee for active wear. I wanted to make a piece that would be specifically made for the public eye to gaze at, meaning whether you're at the gym or going for a run, the surrounding public will draw their eyes on the cross on your back that reads Jesus Saves horizontally, and Jesus Satisfies vertically. For someone who desires motivation in the gym, this piece gives me the motivation I need because of who and what I am representing when I wear this piece.
RESURRECTION TEE
With this piece, I wanted the design to be centered around the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I chose a verse that not only speaks directly to the resurrection, but could also reach someone simply by seeing it in public. The glowing figure and surrounding light are meant to represent the light of salvation that Christ brings into our lives. His resurrection was not only a victory over death, but a declaration of hope for everyone who puts their faith in Him. I wanted the piece to feel almost radiant, as if the message itself is shining through the darkness. The verse serves as a reminder that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is the power that gives us new life, hope, and salvation through Him.
